Private Pay/Out-of-Network Fees
-
Out-of-network means Inner Current Therapies is not contracted with insurance companies. Inner Current Therapies is a fee for service practice.
While not affiliated with any insurance companies, many people have out-of-network benefits and are eligible for reimbursement of up to 80% from their insurance companies.
-
There are a number of reasons not to contract with insurance companies. My priority is to offer high-quality therapy that is tailored to your individual needs. Being an out-of- network provider allows me the flexibility to customize your treatment without restrictions that are often imposed by insurance companies.
Choosing an out-of-network provider allows you to safeguard your privacy and confidentiality. This way, your treatment does not have to depend on any psychiatric diagnosis to receive coverage. Additionally, sexual health diagnoses are rarely covered by insurance.
-
You will be responsible for calling your insurance company to determine what your out-of-network benefits are. I am happy to provide you with a form to help guide you with calling your insurance company to determine out-of-network benefits.
You will also be responsible for submitting a claim to insurance on your own. However, I will provide you with a superbill or invoice that contains all the necessary information needed for reimbursement.

Inner Current Therapies adheres to the Good Faith Estimate requirements for outpatient psychotherapy services. You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost.
Under the law, health care providers are required to give patients who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services. Inner Current Therapies believes in empowering patients to make informed decisions about their care with an understanding of financial responsibilties.
